Mechanical Engineer - Water

Our client is an established main contractor working on mechanical works within the water sector. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This is a full-time site-based position based in the Warwickshire area.

Your new role
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Fault-finding, repairing and maintaining assets across a range of clean water sites
  • Assisting operational staff with the resolution of complex problems
  • Ensuring project deliverables meet agreed standards and quality
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support the successful delivery of capital projects
  • Carrying out reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:

  • Previous mechanical experience on water (clean water or wastewater) projects
  • Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering (ideal)
  • Awareness of Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • Strong organisational and interpersonal skills.
