Finance Director

We're looking for a Finance Director to join BizClik Media to support the existing team with financial structures and growth initiatives.

The Finance Director will lead our financial strategy and functions. This executive role involves close collaboration with the CEO & Leadership team to align financial management with overall business strategies and sales efforts. The successful candidate will ensure financial efficiency and profitability while supporting the company's growth and expansion initiatives.

BizClik employs over circa 120 people across its offices in Norwich (HQ), London and Dubai.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy, aligning with short-term and long-term business objectives.
  • Oversee the company's financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, investments, credit control/cash management to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making, identifying opportunities for growth and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations, maintaining impeccable financial integrity and transparency.
  • Work closely with the CEO to align financial strategy with operational and sales strategies, supporting the company's growth and market expansion.
  • Lead financial planning and analysis, providing accurate and timely financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with banks and other stakeholders, securing funding, as required, and managing financial risks.
  • Implement and oversee financial controls and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Play a key role in assessing strategic initiatives and expansion plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an FD or in a similar senior financial managerial position.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor a small finance team.
  • Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with other executives and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in financial management software and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and reporting requirements in the UK.
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
