Our client is a leading packaging machinery OEM specializing in end-of-line solutions for the Food, Pharmaceutical, and FMCG sectors. With over 25 employees in the UK, they manufacture equipment in Germany and manage installations across the UK market
Role Overview:
As a Service Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient scheduling of engineers, managing service contracts, and delivering excellent customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule 5 engineers' diaries effectively.
- Prepare proposals for service contracts.
- Understand technical drawings
- Assess engineers' skills and assign them to jobs accordingly.
- Coordinate travel arrangements for engineers including flights, hotels, transfers, and parking.
- Manage all administrative tasks associated with SLAs and service visits.
- Generate quotations for service contracts.
- Handle customer inquiries over the phone regarding engineering support
- Coordinate with customers to arrange service visits.
- Organize timely delivery of parts to sites prior to engineer arrival.
- Provide comprehensive reports on service visits.
- Use of software such as Sage
Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a similar role as a Service Coordinator, Scheduler, or Controller.
- Strong work ethic and dedication to providing exceptional service.
- Technical understanding
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in record-keeping and data analysis.
Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
