React Native / Mobile Developer

Summary
International Fintech require focused development capability. Engineers who can demonstrate the coding and development expertise to help to define and maintain the current and future services solutions. You will be aligned to agile product and development teams, working Product Owners, UI/UX, and other Development teams to realise the product roadmap as well as provide product improvement solutions. This is a unique opportunity to join at the start of the expansion stages, utilising your ReactNative expertise and enhancing your wider React capabilities.
As a Developer your responsibilities will include:
- Writing and maintaining quality code
- Partaking in ownership for creating new mobile solutions
- Contributing to the journey towards progressive web apps
- Delivering innovative solutions - bringing ideas and creativity
- Contributing to achievement of product roadmap
- Following software best practice and processes
- Continually enhancing and building a deep knowledge of products and services
- Bringing creativity, through technical restructuring, - new tools, new techniques, patterns, re-use, etc
- Selecting, using and improving a broad modern technology stack
To be successful in the post, your experience will include:
A proven track record in a professional development role, where you have demonstrated the ability to take ownership of mobile services, from design, development and testing through to deployment
Throughout your career you will be able to demonstrate projects with:
- Successful track record in creating, maintaining and enhancing mobile solutions
- Deep practical understanding of React Native
- Deep understanding of App stores Deployments (Apple, Google)
- Understanding of React,
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript,
- Git and Version Control
- Solid creative and Design Principles
- Exposure to RESTful Services / API's
- Desire to progress in Cloud enabled solutions, AWS
- Experience working within an agile development environment

Working arrangements
This post offers a hybrid working model, with approximately 1 day a week in the office desired. Such flexibility in working engagement have been core to this organisation since they opened, however the ability to work collaboratively and build rapport is critical, therefore the ability to attend the office is essential and a reasonable commutable distance from Edinburgh will be required.
