Location: Manchester
Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 8am - 4pm + overtime available + Company share scheme

Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Engineer on behalf of one of our fantastic clients who require someone to be located at their Manchester depot.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carrying out planned, preventive and reactive mechanical maintenance to production plant and equipment.
- Diagnose faults accurately and timely, and identify correct solutions to rectify, ensuring all internal documents i.e. service reports and logs are completed to a high standard.
- Mechanical fault finding.
- Maintain and service a range of machinery.
- Take pride in work to ensure the machines are kept in a pristine state.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, pulleys, bearings, shafts and gearboxes.
- Good understanding of health safety.
- Experienced in the use of workshop equipment.
- Experience in a production engineering role desirable.
- Computer literate (knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel desirable).
