Pump Installation Manager

Location - Ramsgate

Salary - £40,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE

Hours - 40 hours per week 8 am - 5 pm

Our client, a renewable energy specialist, is looking for a Heat Pump Installation Manager to join their team.

The role is split into 2-3 days in the office, and then site visits, so a valid clean driving licence is essential

Responsibilities for the role of Pump Installation Manager

  • Manage the planning of all Air Source Heat Pump activity via the weekly diary meeting
  • Ensure all labour is utilised effectively every week
  • Ensure labour is planned in line with SimPRO quotes
  • Flag any variances between quoted and actual installs
  • Carry out initial site visit conducted ideally within 2 weeks of the initial quote
  • Ensure contact details are logged via SimPRO
  • Be accountable for site visits, these are completed five working days before installation
  • Ensure all materials are ordered and available for each installation
  • Generate handover packs, to be completed and given to the customer at the end of the installation
  • Ensure customers are contacted one week after installation via the aftersales process
  • Carry out Heat loss surveys and provide reporting via the web portal
  • Keep all compliance up to date in conjunction with the Health and safety coordinator
  • Ensure RAMS are produced for every job before job commencement
  • Liaise with SAMS for any high-risk properties e.g. sites over 18 Meters/care homes/HMO/large industrial additional support
  • Be part of the Day-to-Day team management and escalation point
  • Carry out 6 monthly reviews held with the ASHP Team
  • Execute annual appraisal completed with the ASHP Team

Specifications for the role of Pump Installation Manager

  • Will hold a valid clean driving licence
  • Will be a qualified heating engineer, versed in Water regulations, G3 Unvented systems, NVQ plumbing level 3 accredited, Heat Geek (preferred) and Gas Safe(Preferred)
  • Will need to have had team management experience
  • Will have had experience with Heat loss surveys
  • Be IT literate
  • Basic MS packages
