Are you a dynamic self-starter with a passion for the commercial vehicle industry? As a Regional Sales Manager, you will drive the success of dealerships in the north of the UK, ensuring excellent performance and customer satisfaction!

Renumeration:

Base salary and bonus £45,000 - £65,000 dependant on experience.

What You'll Do:

Build Relationships: Develop strong connections with Dealer Principals, Sales Managers, Sales Executives, and Administrators to foster a collaborative, "Can Do" attitude.
Strategic Planning: Create and implement strategic Business Plans for each dealer, focusing on market analysis, sales strategies, and annual volume objectives.
Customer Engagement: Visit customers with dealer personnel to build relationships and secure orders.
Performance Monitoring: Manage and monitor dealer performance, sales leads, stock levels, and pipeline ratios.
Marketing Initiatives: Promote and manage local marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Sales Leadership: Organise and lead regional sales meetings, and support the internal customer care philosophy to ensure dealer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop formal strategic Business Plans for dealers.
  • Conduct market analysis and competitor activity research.
  • Identify and target key customer prospects and business sectors.
  • Review business plans quarterly with dealers to ensure objectives are met.
  • Report on weekly dealer activity and performance.
  • Facilitate regional sales meetings twice a year.
  • Promote the internal customer care philosophy and resolve issues with relevant personnel.
  • Attend meetings, shows, exhibitions, and overnight stays as needed.

What You'll Need:

  • A positive 'Can Do' attitude.
  • Excellent customer relationship skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge and experience in the commercial vehicle industry.
  • Field-based role experience.
