Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and collaborative Estimator to join our client's inclusive and successful team. This full-time Estimator role is based in West Bromwich and offers a favourable salary and benefits package.
As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in operations, carrying out take-offs and tenders for a range of clients. You will also establish connections with various subcontractors and specialists to allow smooth collaboration from enquiry to contract awarded.
In your first few weeks in this Estimator role, you can expect to:
- Perform accurate project take-offs to the required level of detail utilising measuring take-off tools and software for precision
- Pro actively chase subcontractors, and quotations to advance the tendering process
- Execute assigned estimating tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Handling incoming telephone calls, managing messages or redirections as required maintaining clear communication
To apply for this Estimator role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:
- Knowledge of Aluminium Rainscreen systems
- Completion of budget and full quotations on behalf of our clients
- An understanding of architectural, and other specialist drawings, plans and specifications to provide take-offs and quotations
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex project requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation
- Proficiency in using cost estimating software and tools
