Group Digital Workplace Manager

Our Manufacturing client is looking for a Group Digital Workplace Manager to come and join an exciting and well-established team. The client is currently working on a new product development programme and the successful candidate will play a key role in the success of this through the delivery of cost reduction and value analysis and engineering projects.

This role will pay between £60-70,000 per annum, with £6300 annual company car allowance, and 10% bonus as well as a half day on a Friday.

This role is based in the Central Belt of Scotland and will require 2 days per week onsite, with some additional travel to client sites required.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Converting from original Service Desk environment to a Digital Workspace experience
  • Identify and manage digital workplace strategies and processes
  • Identify, observe, distribute and control goals and measurements to show digital workplace enablement influence and service delivery.
  • Plan and manage multi-channel communications campaigns to steer technology adoption
  • Work in partnership with several digital workplace stakeholders
  • Oversee the creation, management and awareness of technology enablement tools (videos, how-to, quick-start guides, etc.)
  • Facilitate enablement and awareness events (Ask the Expert, webinars, lunch and learns, etc.)
  • Management duties including hiring, supervising, training and creating direct reports
  • Partner with leaders on employee experience and engagement improvement proposals
  • Contribution in employee onboarding to emphasise available resources and foster awareness of digital workplace technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years IT or Change Management experience
  • 3+ years people and team management
  • Experience working and liaising with internal and external Stakeholders with the ability to translate business and technical requirements.
  • Working knowledge of The Microsoft Platform, including SharePoint and Collaboration Toolsets.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of ITIL, Service Delivery and Service Improvement.
  • Experience directing technology change and distributions, organisational development and supplier management.
  • Working knowledge of establishing and measuring KPI's from an individual and team perspective
  • Proven ability to create business cases and guarantee support from C-level stakeholders.
  • Proven financial and budget management experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of business IT services, technologies and processes.
