About us:

Painted Group is the UK's fastest growing joinery & spray-painting business. Our flagship factory in Croydon is in need of experienced bench joiners to add valuable skills to our team of experienced machinists to support our growth.

About the role:

We are in search of an experienced and highly skilled bench Joiners for our joinery factory operations. This role involves working on a bench using various hand and power tools to construct carcasses, doors etc ensuring the projects are carried out efficiently, safely, and effectively. As a hands-on joiner, you will need to directly engage with the rest of the team, ensuring high-quality production and workplace morale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration with our in-house Designers Project Managers to deliver projects in a timely manner.
  • Quality Control, ensuring our high standards for Joinery excellence are met on all projects, big or small.
  • Oversee and take responsibility for ensuring Health and Safety compliance in the factory.
  • Managing inventory levels of parts and supplies, ensuring availability for scheduled work.
  • Maintaining workshop tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition and compliant with safety regulations.
  • Reading and understanding complex Joinery drawings, providing feedback when necessary to designers in order to make sure drawings are accurate and reflect best practice.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum - 3-5 years of experience as a bench joiner

You must have hands-on experience working in joinery. Experience using joinery machinery in a factory environment would be advantageous.

A full UK driving license would be beneficial.
