Children's Residential Support Worker
- Hourly Rate: £12.75 plus £40 sleep-in rate

We are seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker with a Level 3 CYPW qualification to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has a passion for working with children and young people, providing them with the support and care they need to thrive.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people in residential care.
- Support the emotional and physical wellbeing of children and young people.
- Engage with children and young people in activities that promote their development and life skills.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to plan and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports on children and young people's progress.
- Attend and contribute to team meetings and training sessions.
- Be prepared to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Level 3 CYPW (Children and Young People's Workforce) qualification.
- Must be over the age of 22.
- Preferred experience in children and young people's services.
- Strong understanding of the needs and rights of children and young people in care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and to build rapport with children and young people.
- Resilience and patience to handle challenging situations.
