AAT Trainee
Location: Plymouth / Tiverton, Devon (Hybrid)
Salary: Minimum £20k + Excellent Benefits
Permanent, 5 days per week (36.25 hours)
The Client:
Our client is a well-established accountancy practice, specialising in agriculture, education, hospitality, and private sectors.
The Role:
As a AAT Trainee, you will undertake both practical and theoretical training while studying for your AAT qualification.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with preparation of financial information, reports, and returns for businesses and individuals.
- Use software to record financial transactions.
- Prepare personal and company tax computations, VAT returns, bookkeeping and other accounting services.
- Support decision-making by analysing income and expenditure information.
Requirements:
- Solid academic background with good results in GCSEs, A-levels or equivalent.
- Skilled Word and Excel.
- Capable to learn new IT skills.
- Adaptable, organised, and detail-oriented.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
