Internal Sales Engineer
£38,000 to £43,000 plus attractive benefits including hybrid working
Based in Bedford, we are proud to be recognised as a global leader in the production of sophisticated machinery serving a number of critical markets. Established over 40 years ago, our machines have been installed in verging on 100 countries all over the world.
In keeping with our exciting growth plans, we are expanding our Service Team and require an experienced Internal Sales Engineer who will work in collaboration with the spare parts team to deliver excellent customer service. You will be responsible for the technical quotation and sale of spare machine parts to existing customers, effectively managing expectations of all stakeholders. The successful Internal Sales Engineer will provide in-scope technical and sales advice to customers via telephone, face-to-face and written communications whilst constructing written quotations utilising the ERP system. Supporting and resolving complex technical customer enquiries, you will also be fully realising all prospective sales opportunities through quotation follow up.
This role would be well suited to an experienced |Internal Sales Engineer who has been working in an Inside Sales, Service Sales or Proposals/Quotations type capacity. The ability to understand and identify both electrical and mechanical components is essential and previous experience in an OEM/Capital Equipment manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
