Robert Half Financial Services division have partnered with an exciting Venture Capital firm who are looking for a Management Accountant to come in for a 6-9 month contract, this role could end up being a permanent position.
Their office is based in the Mayfair and they work on a hybrid model, 4 days a week in the office with decent hours.
The rate will be around the £350-400 mark depending on experience, this is would be via an umbrella company.
The role sits within their Finance team reporting into the Group Financial Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Month end reporting - working to improve this
- Monthly reconciliations and journals
- Preparing Management Accounts
- Ensure day to day transactions are correct, reviewing work of junior staff
- Managing balance sheet
- Being a key player with their audit
- Ad-hoc projects
What we need:
- Qualified Accountant - ACA/CIMA/ACCA
- Financial Services experience is essential
- Understanding of Sage or Business Central
- Advanced Excel skills
- Good stakeholder management, excellent communication skills
- Good technical accounting experience
Need to be available to start within a week, interviews are early next week.
