Fantastic HR Manager opportunity available working for a leading and progressive company based in the Wigan area, North West region. In this role you will provide a human resources service and be the single point of contact for all HR queries to all levels of the Company, to the direction of the Managing Director.
The Role:
- Attract, recruit, retain and develop talent.
- Work with managers and employees to create development plans.
- Identify and develop high potential internal candidates through succession planning process.
- Drive a high-performance culture and increase employee engagement.
- Facilitate regular communication, team building events, and employee recognition activities.
- Lead the development and implementation of culture improvement action plans.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relationships.
- Provide oversight, support, and guidance to employee-led teams in the areas of health and safety, community involvement, reward & recognition, employee communication.
- Provide expert HR guidance and support to managers and employees and provide guidance to managers regarding employee relations issues.
- Coach managers on problem resolution and policy interpretation to ensure a positive and productive working environment.
- Effectively balance role of employee advocate with the best interests of the business.
- Monitor key business metrics and utilise workforce analytics to identify areas of opportunity/concern, support the creation and execution of action plans to address.
- Lead the timely and quality execution of HR processes and procedures.
- Ensure performance management process is fully implemented at all levels.
- Deliver training sessions and programs as needed.
- Develop, implement and maintain HR processes and procedures aligned with HR guidelines and statutory requirements.
- Provide HR support to drive key division and HR functional initiatives and projects.
- Manage staffing at appropriate levels to meet business goals.
- Implement and maintain procedures to minimize absence/illness rate.
- Organisational restructuring planning and implementation.
Salary: Salary up to £55,000 DOE
Other information: Full time – permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours weekly over 5 days Mondays - Fridays
start/finish times between the hours 8am-4pm or 9am – 5pm etc. (can be flexible on times).
