An international shipping and logistics company in South Liverpool are currently seeking a Sea Freight Import Clerk to work on their sea freight team. The purpose of the role will be to handle all importing procedures from worldwide destinations. On offer is a basic salary of up to £30,000 working Monday to Friday.
The main duties of a Sea Freight Import Clerk are:
- Full end to end import procedures.
- Receiving and processing shipping documentation.
- Issuing notices of arrival.
- Providing customers clearance instructions.
- Liaising with colleagues and clients worldwide.
- Arranging deliveries as and when required.
- Processing purchase orders and raising invoices.
- Updating and managing the internal systems.
