Band 6 Locum Occupational Therapist
Speciality: Musculoskeletal Care, Therapies Acute Services, Area - AHP
Pay rates: Negotiable
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist occupational therapy assessments and interventions to patients within the Musculoskeletal Care department.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans.
- Assess and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery.
- Offer expert advice and support to patients, families, and carers regarding therapeutic activities and adaptations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development through audit and research.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist within a similar acute care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
