This role for an Assistant Finance Business is seeking a talented individual with a strong background in Accounting & Finance, preferably within the Healthcare industry. The position is based in Wirral and will involve working within the accountancy team and contributing to the company's strategic financial decisions.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assistant Commercial Accountant include:

  • Building relationship with stakeholders both in and out of finance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
  • Assisting with month end management accounts
  • Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
  • Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
  • Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.

Profile

A successful Assistant Commercial Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Business partner, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
  • Proficiency in the use of financial management software.
  • Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
