Description
The key responsibilities of the Assistant Commercial Accountant include:
- Building relationship with stakeholders both in and out of finance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive the financial planning of the company by analysing its performance and risks.
- Assisting with month end management accounts
- Retain constant awareness of the company's financial position and act to prevent problems.
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations.
- Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives.
- Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines.
Profile
A successful Assistant Commercial Accountant should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business partner, preferably within the Healthcare industry.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
- A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
- Proficiency in the use of financial management software.
- Professional qualification such as CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus.
