Payroll / Accounts Assistant
- Annual Salary: £30,000-£34,000
- Location: Glasgow
- Job Type: Full-time, permanent, office-based
We are looking for an experienced Payroll and Accounts Assistant, with experience of full end-to-end payroll processing using Sage Payroll. The role will be primarily responsible for payroll processing, but will also be required to assist with the processing of some daily transactions and reconciliations.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Processing weekly payroll for c. 130 employees
- Calculating deductions, holidays etc.
- Processing statutory payments incl. SSP, SMP etc.
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Assisting with processing purchase invoives
- Assisting with allocating incoming payments to accounts and reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing CIS returns
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience of in-house payroll processing
- Knowledge of purchase and sales ledger
- Sage Payroll experience
- Knowledge of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS)
