Construction Tutor
Location: Maidstone- Kent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 16:30- 1600 finish at 4pm
Salary: up to £28000 per annum
Contract: Full-time (37 hours per week)

Overview of the Role of Construction Tutor
We are seeking a Construction Teacher to provide effective teaching, learning, and assessment for students with complex needs and behaviours. The role includes:
- Teaching Construction qualifications from Entry level to Level 2, focusing on electrics, plumbing, carpentry and bricklaying
- Creating an inspirational learning environment with high expectations for learner achievement.
- Planning and updating schemes of work to meet curriculum and accreditation requirements.
- Using varied teaching strategies and resources tailored to individual learner needs.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and safeguarding student wellbeing.
Qualifications required for the Construction Tutor
- Recognised teaching qualification (minimum Level 3).
- Extensive experience in teaching and planning.
- Occupational background in construction skills (Bricklaying, Carpentry, Electrics, Plumbing).
- Experience working with young people with complex needs.
- Knowledge of diverse teaching and behaviour management strategies.
