About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with teachers to provide booster sessions in core subjects such as English, Math, and Science for Key Stage 2 students. Your support will be crucial in helping students strengthen their understanding and improve their academic performance throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering targeted booster sessions in core subjects.
- Support individual and small groups of students to enhance their understanding of key concepts.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to teachers.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help develop and adapt learning materials to meet the needs of all students.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with Key Stage 2 students in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in core subjects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and engage students.
- A patient, supportive, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
- Relevant qualifications (such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable.
