Project Worker
A job opportunity has arose for a Project Worker in Cambridge. This is a temporary role for 3 months ongoing
Length: Temporary 3 months ongoing
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shifts: This is a combination of Early Shifts (8am-4:30pm) mid shift (11am-7:30pm) and Late Shifts (1:30pm-10pm)
Location: Cambridge
The role involves:
- Deliver emotional and life skills based support to young people aged 16-24 in supported accommodation
- Offer life based support and assist with daily living such as budgeting and preparing to move on into independent accommodation
- Actively involve service users in developing their support plans to reach their individual goals and aspirations
- Offer advice and assistance to tenants regarding their benefit entitlements, sourcing employment and education opportunities
- Provide support and advice to tenants in relation to issues concerning their tenancies
- Enforce tenancy conditions in line with procedures including low level Anti-Social Behaviour
- Signposting to other support agencies as appropriate including counselling services, drug and alcohol services and housing services
Additional requirements:
- Experience in a similar position working with vulnerable clients
- An enhanced DBS with adults and children's work force check ideally from within three years or the willingness to obtain a new one
