On offer is a workshop-based role where you will work alongside a close-knit team of experts, gaining experience in a variety of manufacturing engineering disciplines with the option to increase your earnings through overtime if desired.
This company are a bespoke provider of high performance parts and components to the motorsport sector, and do a lot of work for F1. Their likeminded team of specialists are looking to add someone else to their ranks in order to continue providing a brilliant service to their clients.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a mechanical skillset to gain valuable experience in the motorsport sector, in a position with ongoing training and development opportunities. You will be responsible for a variety of workshop-based duties, including assembly, testing, servicing, and interpreting engineering drawings. This is precise, fine work, so good attention to detail will be required.
This role would suit someone with a mechanical skillset looking to establish a lasting career in engineering, whilst working for a highly stable and secure business, in a role offering the chance to gain new technical skills on an ongoing basis.
The Role:
- Workshop-based, with a standard working week of Monday-Friday
- Hands-on position, undertaking mechanical work on components for motorsport vehicles
- Overtime is available, as well as a bonus scheme
The Candidate:
- Some mechanical competence or qualification would be beneficial, but full training can be provided
- Seeking to establish a career within engineering
- Enthusiastic and highly motivated to gain new skills
