An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Territory Sales Manager with a proven track record in sales within various trade sectors to join our growing client. The role is based in the Central Belt of Scotland and offers a chance to significantly contribute to the growth of a leading fine food wholesaler and manufacturer.

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Split time between managing and nurturing existing high-profile accounts and aggressively pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Increase sales by presenting new and existing product ranges tailored to customer needs.
  • Analyse market trends to identify sales opportunities and create profitable solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, demonstrating a strong drive for business growth.
  • Maintain a high level of autonomy, managing schedules and customer interactions with professionalism.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Articulate, enthusiastic, and confident with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Independent worker with the ability to interact with customers in a courteous manner.
  • Commercially astute, sales-driven, and goal-oriented with strong analytical skills.
  • IT literacy is essential.
  • Desirable experience includes selling to garden centres, farm shops, and gift shops.
  • Demonstrable success in new business development and a creative approach to sales strategies.
  • Excellent organisational skills, including report writing.
