Finance & Accounts Administrator
£26,000 - £35,000 DOE
West End, Glasgow
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm
I am recruiting on behalf of my established client in the West End of Glasgow for an experienced Finance and Accounts Administrator, to join our client on a permanent contract. In this role, you will support a small finance team with transactional finance duties. The company operates an agile workforce, so candidates can expect a variety of tasks. My client seeks someone keen to become an expert in their field and offers development opportunities, such as funding for AAT/ACCA qualifications.
Please note, you must be experienced within Transactional Finance responsibilities to apply for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing sales invoices and managing accounts receivable
- Credit control and resolving invoice disputes with customers and suppliers
- Supplier and customer statement reconciliations
- Managing accounts receivable and payable mailboxes
- Daily reporting of issued invoices and cash received
- Bank account reconciliations and credit card transaction processing
- Supporting monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
- Providing ad-hoc financial data analysis and supporting external audit queries
Requirements:
- Solid experience in Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable
- Proficient with accounting systems and financial data analysis
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work collaboratively at all levels and on own initiative
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Desirable:
- Part-qualified accountant
- Knowledge of Oracle NetSuite or similar cloud-based accounting software
- Experience with multicurrency transactions
