About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic PE Teacher to join a vibrant and diverse secondary school in Forest Gate. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to inspire students to engage in physical education and promote a healthy, active lifestyle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons for students across all key stages.
- Promote physical fitness and wellbeing, encouraging students to develop a lifelong interest in sports and physical activity.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities, including after-school sports clubs and school sports teams.
- Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.
- Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students, promoting teamwork, discipline, and respect in physical activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the overall educational development of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience as a PE teacher at secondary level, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities.
- A passion for sports and physical education, with the ability to inspire students to excel.
- Experience in organizing and leading extracurricular sports activities.
