Engine Design Engineer
INSIDE IR35 Contract
12 months with high likelihood of extension
Role Summary:
- Contribute to design and development of new product concepts and complex engineering projects.
- Design and develop engine components and systems for production.
- Ensure products meet standards for performance, durability, quality, cost, and serviceability.
- Collaborate with global teams and suppliers.
- Lead project planning and delivery.
Skills Required:
- Analytical Thinking: Problem-solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills.
- Effective Communications: Ability to provide constructive feedback and make clear presentations.
- Managing Multiple Priorities: Handle changing demands and multitasking.
- Product Design and Development: Experience with 3D modeling, product design requirements, and prototype development.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science.
- 1-3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in Diesel/spark ignited engine design.
- Proficiency in Creo/AutoCAD.
- Ability to perform simple simulation work
