Day-to-day of the role:
- Develop and implement new features to enhance site functionality.
- Continuously refine and optimize current functionalities for peak performance.
- Uphold the highest standards of site security and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline and automate processes, improving efficiency.
- Work closely with the Managing Director and Chief Technology Officer on new projects and initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience with PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant industry experience.
- Experience with Linux/Apache platforms is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AWS – Cloud Computing is beneficial.
- Proficiency with Photoshop or other photo editing software is desirable.
- Knowledge of Gulp is a plus.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive in seeking solutions and initiating improvement.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to undertake a variety of tasks and adapt to changing needs.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Inquisitive nature, keen to research and identify market changes and opportunities.
