Castlefield Recruitment are working with a public-sector organisation in Manchester who are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to their team on an initial interim basis, which will then lead to a guaranteed permanent role. The role offers hybrid working/flexi-time, generous annual leave, study support and other great benefits.
Duties:
- Responsible for processing all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, ensuring accurate payments and collections
- Perform frequent bank reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded correctly
- Work closely with the management accountant and help support with budget monitoring
- Assist with adhoc tasks such as administrative duties
Experience:
- Strong transactional finance experience with an understanding of management accounts and budget monitoring
- AAT Qualified with experience using financial systems and strong excel skills
- Experience performing regular bank reconciliations
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
- Able to work as a team player and assist with adhoc duties
- Exceptional organisational and administration skills with strong attention to detail
