We are seeking an IT Systems Support Officer to provide essential logistical and administrative support in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems for Trauma Informed Lancashire and the Lancashire Violence Reduction Network (LVRN). This role is pivotal in delivering a wide range of IT system functions, including workforce development and website management.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Design and develop IT systems supporting LVRN and Trauma Informed Lancashire, including maintenance and updating of training and admin databases.
  • Coordinate and manage training requests using internal systems and external platforms such as Eventbrite.
  • Identify and coordinate venues and logistical support for training events.
  • Liaise with delegates regarding training or other support requests, including post-course administration.
  • Work with ICT to identify solutions to problems, collate system changes, and prepare business cases for implementation.
  • Attend meetings to discuss corporate issues and future developments for Trauma Informed training.
  • Collaborate with other forces, agencies, and supply companies regarding IT systems.
  • Support the communications team by updating websites for LVRN and Trauma Informed Lancashire.
  • Provide administrative support to the LVRN office and team for the delivery of products and workstreams.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to offer in-field support.
  • Take a proactive problem-solving approach focused on solutions and continual service improvement.
  • Undertake additional duties consistent with the role's nature, responsibilities, and grading.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience in analysing and resolving problems on computer application systems and associated software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows current operating systems and applications.
  • Experience in maintaining computerised and manual filing/recording systems.
  • Experience working in partnership with other departments and agencies.
  • Ability to handle difficult, sometimes confrontational circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills across a wide spectrum of individuals and groups.
  • Ability to interrogate computer systems to produce reports and management information.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to investigate problems, develop solutions, and take timely action to resolve them.
  • Experience in writing complex reports with analytical content.
  • Experience in developing, using, and supporting information systems used by third parties.
  • Ability to travel on Constabulary business as required.
