Oxford City Council is leading the City's response to the Climate Emergency. Taking the lead from the City's Climate Change Citizen Assembly the Council has adopted an ambitious but achievable net zero target. We are looking for a passionate, capable and dynamic Utilities Coordinator to join our Environmental Sustainability team and play a leading role in making ensuring the councils energy use is well managed to ensure our net zero target happens.

This role will undertake the management of our energy and water contracts, billing and feed-in tariff allocations. You will work closely with several teams across the council, as well as our suppliers, to ensure correct billing is in place. You will identify areas where energy reduction measures can be made and work with both the Energy and Carbon Manager and the Carbon Reduction Project Manager to analyse data and systems to support implementation of these measures.

If you are a well organised and thrive in data analysis, engaging with stakeholders and supplier management to make a lasting difference this role will suit you. This work will provide an excellent opportunity for candidates who have a background in energy management, looking after their organisation's energy use, dealing with metering, billing and online finance and energy management systems. Key attributes include strong analytical and reporting skills and proven track record in supplier account management.

This role will support some hybrid working, but site visits and working in Oxford will also be required (the amount will depend on the status and site visits needed for each project).
