We are Looking for FLT DRIVER for food production based in Headcorn

Temp to Perm position after probation period

Working hours are: Monday to Friday: 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm - rotating on the weekly basis.

Hourly pay for training time £12.50 then increase to £13.00

Job description

  • Ensure safe operation of all FLT's and PPT's on site
  • Ensure pre-start checks are carried out on FLT's and PPT's when using and report any non-conformance to the shift manager
  • Identifying and helping resolve non-conforming raw material issues.
  • Monitoring stock rotation on site and ensure short life stock and out of date stock is reported to the shift manager
  • Carry out Pre-Start checks of the Extraction machinery.
  • Load Fruit Pallets into Tipper IAW Blending requirement.
  • Assist the Extraction / Fruit sorting team with all specific and relevant tasks to achieve the daily plan
  • Assist with project work including assignments to make site improvements and new product development initiatives.
  • Ensure Warehouse / Extraction and sorting Room areas complies with Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
  • Ensure completion of paperwork are completed correctly and in a timely manner.

Qualification:

  • Counterbalance/ FLT Licence Required, Reach Truck and PPT desirable but not essential.
  • Knowledge of working within a warehouse department role in a factory would be desirable.
  • Good knowledge of food/drinks manufacturing processes is desirable.
  • Basic Food Hygiene Level 2 or above (training will be provided
