Project Manager

Nene Park Trust manages over 1,725 acres of land west of Peterborough, including a 500 acre country park at Ferry Meadows, and a number of other informal green spaces.

We are looking for an experienced and pro-active Project Manager to join our Development Team and support the delivery of key strategic projects during a particularly important and busy period for the Trust's development.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate significant experience of working within a project management environment and the ability to get up to speed quickly on project aims and establish relationships with the project team and partners. This role will be centred on a construction-based project, delivering leisure facilities for our visitors alongside projects delivering our Nene Park Master Plan.

The ideal candidate will have experience:

  • Leading on projects - Proven track record of planning and delivering projects using a structured project management methodology.
  • Building partnerships with local communities, organisations and wider stakeholders - You will have experience of engaging and building partnerships with a range of communities, local organisations and stakeholders.
  • Managing suppliers and subcontractors - Excellent organisational, communication and reporting skills

The job is based at our head office in Ferry Meadows - Ham Farm House, Ham Lane, Peterborough, PE2 5UU, with the ability to undertake the role with hybrid home-working (minimum 2 days/week in the office). This is a fixed-term (up to 14-months maternity cover) working 37.5 hours a week.
