Marketing Director

Position Summary

Our client is a forward-thinking firm integrating technology into legal services, innovating to enhance client experiences and streamline legal processes in the smaller consumer protection claims sector. They are seeking an experienced Marketing Director to drive their marketing efforts - both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C). This role is pivotal to enhancing their brand visibility, fostering client engagement and supporting the growth objectives.

Position Overview:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies aligned to the business objectives. This role requires a hands-on, strategic thinker to implement marketing initiatives across the organisation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the consumer protections legal claims sector and a deep understanding of the legal industry.

The role will have two primary focuses:

Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing for the litigation funding side of the business and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) marketing for the law firm. The Marketing Director will be responsible for brand building, outreach strategies, and developing an in-house marketing team.

Key Responsibilities:

_1. Strategy Development: _

  • Develop and execute a marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility and drive business growth - B2B and B2C
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align marketing strategies with business goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.

_2. B2B Marketing (Litigation Funding): _

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage law firm and insurance partners.
  • Create compelling content and collateral to communicate the value proposition of our clients litigation funding services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key partners
  • Manage and implement B2B outreach initiatives, including webinars, conferences and industry publications
  • Work with external agencies to implement firm initiatives
  • identify opportunities to bring to our clients law firm partners and/or law firm

_3. B2C Marketing (Law Firm): _

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain clients
  • Enhance client origination and retention through targeted digital marketing campaigns, SEO and client engagement programs
  • Create engaging content to promote the companies legal services
  • Manage B2C outreach initiatives, including community events, sponsorship's and partnerships.

_4. Brand Building and Outreach: _

  • Lead the development and execution of brand building strategies - B2B and B2C
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning
  • Oversee the creation of marketing materials, ensuring they align with brand guidelines and business objectives.
  • Implement outreach strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Raise the firm's position within key markets.

_5. Team Leadership: _

  • Build and lead a high-performing marketing team
  • Set clear goals and KPIs for the marketing team, and monitor performance to ensure targets are met.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture

_6. Managing External Resources: _

  • Identify and manage relationships with external marketing resources, including agencies, freelancers, and consultants.
  • Coordinate with external partners to ensure alignment with internal marketing strategies and objectives.
  • Monitor the performance of external resources and ensure they deliver high-quality results.

_7. Budget Management: _

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
  • Track and report on the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Ensure marketing activities deliver a strong ROI and contribute to the company's growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of marketing experience, with a significant portion in the consumer protection legal claims sector.
  • Proven experience in strategy development and implementation within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C marketing, digital marketing, SEO, content marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data driven decisions.
  • Experience managing budgets and delivering measurable results.
