Floating Lettings Negotiator

Our client a forward thinking and award winning independent Estate Agent with a network of offices located across Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Middlesex are looking for a Floating Lettings Negotiator to be based in their busy office in Gerrards Cross acting as cover for their other offices for holiday and when help with workload is needed.

A very well established and highly regarded agency, well known for the excellent level of customer service they offer all of their clients as well as their extensive local market knowledge. They pride themselves on the services they offer in Sales,Lettings,Property Management,Land and New Homes.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about the property industry, with a strong understanding of the full lettings process, with a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in the industry.

You must be outgoing, driven and self-motivated, and used to working to targets and deadlines. You must hold a full UK driving licence, and own your own car.

Salary package and benefits of the Floating Lettings Negotiator role include:

  • Basic £18,000 to £20,000
  • OTE £40,000
  • £2,000 Yearly bonus based on targets being met
  • £3,600 Car allowance

  • Mon to Fri 9am to 6pm working 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 4pm

Skills and experience needed for the Floating Lettings Negotiator role include:

  • Minimum 2 to 3 years' Lettings experience with Valuing experience
  • Ideally ARLA qualified but not essential
  • Team player
  • Well-presented and articulate
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Enjoys dealing with customers face to face as well as over the phone
  • Exceptional customer-service skills
  • Ambitious and target driven
  • Natural selling ability
  • Must hold full UK driving licence

The role of the Floating Lettings Negotiator includes:

  • Flexible to travel to any of the company's 15 offices to cover holiday and help with workload when needed
  • Conducting valuations
  • Ability to identify appropriate properties for clients and vice/versa
  • Good working knowledge of inventory
  • Focus will be on speaking with potential tenants, building relationships, generating leads.
  • The ability to provide advice and turn initial enquiries into actual business
  • You will need to be able to work under pressure, whilst remaining organised, focused and accessible
