Facilities Supervisor

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Facilities Supervisor based within Hampshire, Dorset and Isle Of Wight

To supervise the site cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness internally and externally. First point of contact on management of Waste, Pest control and Landscaping services.

Available shifts / Locations below:

  • Monday until Friday (5 days a week)
  • Area: Hampshire, Dorset and Isle Of Wight
  • 08:00-17:00pm
  • £13.74 including holiday pay, however you have the option to accrue
  • Paid Weekly, Every Friday before 5 PM.

Skills and experience required:

  • Must have a least 2 years previous experience
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team
  • Good communication and organisation skills with good attention to detail
  • DBS
  • Driving Licence
  • Experience of industry/public cleaning services
  • Previous experience of supervising a cleaning team in multiple locations
  • Basic knowledge on IT and Microsoft office systems
  • Lead and manage cleaning teams to deliver a quality service in line with KPI's
  • This is a full-time permanent role working Monday -Friday however there is some element of flexibility required with early starts, evening, and weekends.
  • Responsible for managing direct reports on larger sites and operational teams on smaller sites.
  • Respond in a timely manner to any issues from client regarding routine and non-routine cleaning services, providing suitable cover for unplanned absences.
  • Monitor in house systems to ensure any overtime, absence and leave is approved and recorded in line with company policy and procedures.
  • Supervising the operation between 15 - 25 buildings
  • Monitor the quality and completion of work inline with SHEQ regulations and compliance.
  • Ensure that cleaning materials, equipment and designated storage areas are maintained and operated in a clean, tidy, and safe condition.
  • Responsible for the procurement of cleaning materials and other consumable when required.
  • Manage, track, and oversee all people management activities including recruitment, onboarding, time and attendance, employee information changes and performance management.
  • Keep up to date with all personal and team training requirements to uphold the standards of soft services including toolbox talks.
  • Complete visits and inspections periodically on all sites within area of responsibility.
  • Perform administrative duties in line with job requirements.
