Urban Connect are currently working with a leading Multi-Discipline design consultancy in Manchester who are looking to recruit for a Senior Electrical Engineer on the back of being awarded a number of significant frameworks which will lead to 9 years of work and well over £100m in fees.
The business work in a complete variety of sectors, giving exposure to a range of projects, particularly; defence, manufacturing, heritage, transport and logistics. Schemes will range in value from £2m - £750m+.
As Senior Electrical Engineer you will work alongside an experienced team to collaborate across disciplines and understand the clients requirements to provide an innovative engineered solution.

Responsibilities
- Full Electrical Building Services & lighting design to concept & detail stages with associated calculations
- Take an active role in building services design elements for major projects working closely with other team members
- Attend meetings and communicate with clients when necessary to establish their needs
- Offer consultancy advice and prepare design reports, specifications and drawings in a timely fashion and within budget
- Support graduate engineers and Senior staff with technical expertise and mentor less experienced team members.
