Plumber

Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Plumber based within Edinburgh, EH16

The ideal candidate would have previous experience within the FM industry and have a background in Domestic and Commercial plumbing/drainage.

Skills and Qualifications required:

Must have at least 2 years previous Plumbing experience
Must have experience within general plumbing tasks
NVQ Level 3or equivalent is desirable
DBS or equivalent required
Punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
Able to manage time effectively.
Ability to work both alone and in a team.
Awareness of health and safety procedures
A good standard of Secondary Education, including Maths and English
Approved and formal apprenticeship served in Plumbing/Mechanical skill area required or relevant and practical experience within a similar industry

Duties and experience required:

To be able to carry out Maintenance and response to Reactive Calls
Have a good understanding of mechanical knowledge of HVAC systems is essential
To be responsible for routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
To be able to operate equipment, maintain records, respond to emergencies, ensure safety compliance, collaborate with colleagues, and may receive training
To complete high quality repair and maintenance works and deliver high levels of customer service on a daily basis.
Complete Plumbing and multi skilled works to complete the job in one visit when applicable.
Good working knowledge of the requirements of Scottish Health Technical Memoranda would be advantageous.
Knowledge of TMV's and Legionella Control preferred.
