I am recruiting a Financial Accounting Manager for a large international professional services firm based in Central London. This innovative professional services firm client is growing rapidly - 40% over the past five years, mainly through acquisition.
As Financial Accounting Manager you will lead the team (4) responsible for all aspects of statutory accounting and financial reporting.
Key responsibilities:
- Preparation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Manging both overseas and UK subsidiary statutory accounts processes.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant (IFRS) accounting standards.
- Liaising with the Auditors on all aspects of reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is provided within agreed timeframes.
- Review and oversee month end close entries made by the team.
Your profile:
- A qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA), practice trained with a strong technical (IFRS) accounting skill set.
- Ideally this will be demonstrated by the fact that you qualified in practice and then had at least one year in a dedicated Financial Accounting role within a mid-cap, large or listed environment.
- A good team leader, able to motivate, manage and mentor.
Hybrid working - 2/3 days per week in the office.
