We are currently recruiting for a HR Administrator to join our client based on the outskirts of Swindon.

  • Work closely alongside the HR Advisor, assisting where required.
  • Ensuring HR Policies are updated whenever new Employment Legislation is introduced.
  • Maintain the online staff database (Cascade; including new employees, changing of terms and conditions, absence management, holidays, probationaries, KPIs, Leaves. Produce regular reports from the system.
  • Provide regular reporting on staffing levels, absence, vacancies and attrition.
  • Monitoring My Learning Zone Training and producing reports.
  • Manage HR Inbox together with sensitive and confidential data and files.
  • Work with hiring manager, create and post job advertisements onto Indeed and where appropriate, liaise with recruitment agencies/negotiate favourable rates.
  • Prepare documentation, send out offer letters, contracts, HR documentation for new employees, ensuring communications are constant and protocols are followed. Carry out Right-to-Work, DBS and reference checks.
  • Onboard new employees/temporary staff and arrange inductions.
  • Monitor probationary reviews, compose letters and send out 3-month survey.
  • Interact with and provide information to employees, department heads etc when requested.
  • Liaising with key accounts for medical/pension benefits to ensure starters/leavers are accounted for - run regular reports.
  • Attendance to disciplinaries, staff 1:1's for note-taking.
  • Conduct exit interviews and inform the relevant Director of any issues as appropriate.
  • Assist with payroll updates.

Qualifications/Skills/Experience/Knowledge

  • CIPD Level 3 qualification and previous HR Administration experience.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
  • Competent keyboard skills to produce accurate and well-presented reports.
  • Able to present data in forms, tables and spreadsheets.
  • Ability to work well and methodically under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets.
