Seeking a motivated and adaptable Cash Analyst to join a high performing Finance team in the hospitality industry. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role is at the heart of cash monitoring and control. With hundreds of sites, cash is a vital part of the day to day business and focus. This is an opportunity for someone to come and be part of a social and dynamic finance team in a fast paced business.
Key Respsonsibilities:
- Continuous monitoring and analysis of cash by location, including reconciliations of tills to deposits
- Monitoring and maintaining relationships with cash collectors and solving day-to-day issues
- Communicating with stores about best practices and latest cash risks
- Production of KPI dashboard on a regular basis
- Regular interaction and support to the Operational Teams
- Ownership of all receipt reconciliation, including cards and other tender types
- Assisting the business in new channel growth management and control
- Monitoring and reviewing reconciliations completed by the cash team
- Assisting the Head of Internal Audit with queries or actions
- Loading payments to banking platform and ensuring payment paper trail is correct and authorised
- Assisting in the preparation of cash flow forecast
About you:
- Experience as a Cash Controller within a multi-site hospitality business (desirable)
- Strong IT skills, including Excel, and numeracy skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute ideas
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment and ability to refocus priorities
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and as a team player
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
