Audiologist- Band 5
Location: Carlisle
Start date- ASAP
End date- 3+ Months
Shift Pattern:
- Full time - Monday to Friday
- 08:00 - 16:00 (some flexibility in hours/shift patterns including 3 x long days)
Skills/Experience:
- Select, set up, calibrate and perform a range of audiological investigations on both adults and children, in accordance with recognised procedures and standards, to evaluate hearing acuity and assist in diagnosis, including pure tone audiometry, behavioural assessment, speech discrimination, tympanometry and otoscopic examination
- Analyse and interpret results of investigative procedures and formulate appropriate rehabilitation strategies for patients with respect to their audiological status, communication skills and social needs.
- Professional assessments and care interventions within legislation and the COT and HCPC practice requirements
- Manage, supervise and support staff as required
