We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our supportive team. This role involves planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to students with diverse needs and collaborating with staff to support student development. Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to students with diverse educational needs.
- Assess and track student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
- Collaborate with other staff, parents, and external professionals to support student development and well-being.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment for all students.
- Utilise a variety of teaching resources and techniques to enhance student learning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience working with SEN students.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant curriculum frameworks and SEN strategies.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies.
- A patient, caring, and creative approach to teaching.
