Semi Senior Accountant
An exciting position has become available for a full-time semi senior accountant to join a friendly team based in Barnet. The successful candidate will have a passion to learn and progress within a dynamic and fast-growing accounting practice. The successful candidate will earn £28,000 -£32,000 per annum. (depending on experience)
Semi-Senior Accountant Position Overview
- Prepare accounts for all our clients - sole traders, partnerships, limited companies
- Prepare VAT returns
- Bookkeeping task for various clients on xero
- Liaise with HMRC and ensure client accounts are up to date
- Liaise with clients regularly ensuring they are kept up to date at all times
- Take a forward-facing approach to all clients, we would like the successful candidate to get out in front of clients whenever possible
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience working in a practice environment. Candidates are not required to be fully-qualified, we will accept candidates still studying towards ACA/ACCA/ICAEW.
The successful applicant must maintain a high level of services, providing clients with a five-star service at all times. Our client prides themselves on the service they provide to all clients, no matter the size of the company. Suitable candidates will have experience using Xero and Dext, and other relevant tools relating to accountancy.

- Must have 3+ years working in an accountancy practice
- Candidates will have experience using Xero and Dext
- Be confident speaking to clients over the phone, through email and face-to-face
- Have a reliable commute to Woodford Green
- Ensure client accounts are always kept up to date
