Fund Data Analyst

Equifind are representing a Venture Capital firm based in the West End, London who are looking to hire a Fund Data Analyst within their Finance and Fund Administration department.

You'll be reporting into the Finance Director whilst supporting and developing more junior members of the team. This opportunity is perfect for somebody who wants to step up and further broaden their knowledge within Fund Administration.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing relevant tax information relating to investors and, where necessary, liaise with HMRC.
  • Leading the on-going data maintenance of the investor portal and back office system including preparing data files, journal entries and fee schedules.
  • UAT testing of new functionality and BAU developmental releases.
  • Creation of reporting documents and client communications. At times, this will require data analysis using Microsoft and Libris products.
  • Assisting with the data migration to the new back office system - Sage Acuity.
  • Maintaining investor records following a change in correspondence details or adviser.

Application criteria:

To be considered for the role of Fund Data Analyst working for this VC firm based in the West End, London candidates should ideally be:

  • Ideally a University Graduate in a numerate or technical subject such as computer science, engineering or IT.
  • Ideally advanced in Microsoft Excel: pivot tables and performing index-match/SumIfs/VLook-Up functions
  • Familiarity with databases and CRM systems (MS Access, Libris and Acuity preferable).
  • Previous experience in data migration, UAT testing and extracting data from XMLs.
  • High attention to detail

Compensation:

  • Salary of: £35,000 - £50,000 PA.
