Nexus Recruitment are seeking a Senior Block Manager for a managing agent based in Eastbourne. You will be joining a firm who have been operating very successfully in Sussex for a number of years. Given their long-standing reputation within the sector and their organic growth as a company, there are significant opportunities for a long-term career move with a clear pathway for personal development. You will have a portfolio of 21 blocks, circa 400 units across East Sussex.
Core duties:
- Management of a portfolio
- Oversee planning and execution of day-to-day operations of your portfolio
- Financial responsibility with the service charge budget and year end accounts
- Proactive inspections across your portfolio
- Maintain communication with all stakeholders through AGM's and other avenues, demonstrating high levels of customer service
- Ensure compliance with current H&S regulations is upheld across your portfolio
- Oversee an APM who will be supporting you on your portfolio
You will receive full sponsorship and support towards the TPI exams, ensuring you are in the best position to complete your exams successfully. There is a diverse team culture and as a business they have a very good retention, so you will have a number of people around you to bounce off of.
Required attributes:
- ATPI qualified ideally
- 2+ years private leasehold experience
- Personable and confident character
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
