The successful Court of Protection Paralegal will have experience handling cases involving individuals lacking mental capacity to manage their property, affairs, or make welfare decisions.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in annual accounts, house purchases, budgets, and cash flow.
- Manage welfare benefits and insure properties and vehicles.
- Engage daily with clients, case managers, family members, and professionals.
- Manage payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Budget management and assistance for clients.
- Supervised handling of client matters in accordance with NPS, ensuring high client care standards.
About You:
- Ability to understand diverse clients with empathy for vulnerable individuals.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, and strong IT proficiency.
- Multitasking capability to meet time recording and billing targets.
