Description

  • Develop and implement an effective sales strategy for the department
  • Lead, coach and mentor the sales team to exceed targets
  • Build strong relationships with key clients
  • Oversee and land new contracts through bid management
  • Track and report on sales performance metrics
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure client satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for growth within the sector
  • Head up sales, reporting into the Board

Profile

A successful 'Head of Sales - Contract Catering' should have:

  • A strong background in sales within the Business Services sector, preferably a link to Food or Contract Catering services
  • Leadership experience; sales training, development planning, best practice, encouraging a successful culture
  • Passion for scaling up a team and making sales pivotal in business growth
  • Defining and executing a channel / client strategic business plan
  • Excellent relationship and negotiation skills with multi function touch points. Bid delivery
  • Internal & external influence from top down
  • Proficiency in using sales tracking and reporting
