Sanza Teaching Agency are looking for an experienced administrator to join the office team at a supportive and vibrant primary school based in the London Borough of Southwark.

Skills and Experience Required
We are looking for an enthusiastic, efficient and dependable person who is able to hit the ground running. School office experience would be essential, and a strong administrative background with good experience in the below will be priority when choosing a candidate:

1. Excel - must be proficient and able to use basic formulas
2. Financial administration - you will be in charge of parent payments for trips, clubs and EYFS charges, which is a large and important job.
3. Excellent attendance and punctuality - this is essential to the office running smoothly
4. Organisational skills including time management and prioritisation
5. Ability to use or ability to learn to use MIS and other systems (Compass/ParentmaiI)
6. Ability to work in a busy environment
7. Ability to work as part of a team
8. Good communication

The Role in More Detail
Your line managers will be the School Business Manager and Deputy Business Manager who work across the school federation and are therefore in school part time. The role is front of house, assisted by an administrative assistant who is the first port of call, but which does mean dealing with parents/carers, children and staff as they come into the office as well as answering phones where necessary.

As the senior administrator you will be in charge of ensuring office systems are running smoothly, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
1. Parentmail admin including financial (ensuring all payments are charged correctly and paid on time, administration of childcare vouchers, trips administration, wraparound care administration, activity club administration)
2. EYFS enrolments in September and January intakes as well as in year (keeping waiting lists, ensuring ratios are adhered to, ensuring funding codes are checked and applied, ensuring charges are applied correctly)
3. Free School Meal administration (checking eligibility for FSM for the whole school termly, reporting to Southwark)
4. Medical administration (keeping all medication up to date, checking expiry dates and making sure parents/carers replace any expiring medication. Keeping medical lists up to date and informing the correct people of medical details where necessary)
5. Login administration (student logins for any subscriptions including Google Classroom)
6. Office email inbox (ensuring excellent communication with parents/carers, staff and other stakeholders)
7. Other financial administration (including entering committed orders into financial system Access).
