The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and maintenance of all facilities within an organization. This role ensures that buildings and their services meet the needs of the employees and the organisation. The Facilities Supervisor manages maintenance staff, coordinates with external contractors, and ensures compliance with health and safety standards.
- Oversee the maintenance, repair, and operation of buildings, equipment, and systems.
- Lead and evaluate maintenance staff, develop work schedules, and provide training and development.
- Manage external contractors, oversee procurement, and ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulations.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget, maintain inventory, and track and report expenditures.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations, conduct inspections, and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Identify and implement operational improvements, reduce energy consumption, and coordinate facility enhancement projects.
- Develop emergency response plans, train staff, and manage facility-related emergencies and incidents.
This position is onsite and located in East Acton, London.
